Willow Springs Windfarm

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Located in Haskell County, Texas, the 250 MW Willow Springs Wind Farm uses 100 General Electric turbines to generate more than 953,000 MWh, more than enough renewable energy annually to power almost 92,000 U.S. homes. The Willow Springs Wind Farm helps meet the energy needs of the state by providing clean and flexible wind powered electricity. The project is supported by long-term tax equity financing and an offtake contract.

The Willow Springs Wind Farm will provide a significant economic boost to the local community over the life of the project, including upwards of $44 million that will help support the region in the form of property taxes.
